You’ll soon discover if we’ve not yet met, that the people in my life are most important. Wherever we’ve lived and served, I focus on the people. While I’ve lived in Wisconsin much of my life I have friends all over the US and in other countries.

Friends and family encourage. Comfort. Laugh with you. Listen. Pray. Cry with you sometimes. The shortest distance between here and an instant smile is a grandchild’s smiling “Hi Grammy!”

Because I’m one of those who frequently ask God to be sure to show me what He wants me to gain from an experience, even an unpleasant one, I’ve gathered quite a few insights and lessons along the way, some of them we’ll talk about in these pages.
